Lately, i have been spending a lot (ok, most) of my time reading design blogs. It's more economical than spending most of my money on design magazines. This came of course, after I already spent loads on those glossies.
Anyway, I found this cool blog, LOTUSHAUS . It specializes in the design and marketing of eco-friendly and organic products and services. I especially love her JUXTAPOSTE link, which is like a mood board with a collage of image, pattern and design that comes with a word-of-the-day. Hmm, a more interesting, colorful, creative version of merriam-webster's word of the day.
When I saw the pic of the Banaue rice terraces, I immediately read the entry where she mentioned going to the terraces in the Philippines before she dies. Her name is Joanna, she is a Seattle based American-Canadian Pinay married to a German. And I found another Pinoy culture entry with this quaint illustration of kids playing luksong tinik .
